The following relate to news and articles about Dynamics 365 Marketing
Transition from Outbound to Real-time Marketing Playbook
This was a great find! I had it bookmarked to add to an issue of the newsletter and in the same week one of the readers emailed me about it too… thanks Mike! It’s been around for a while but Microsoft have put together a playbook for transitioning from Outbound to Real-time Marketing. If you are in the position where you are not quite sure how to get started, check this out first. It’s also updated pretty regularly it seems too.
Real-time Marketing Subscription Forms
MEGAN V. WALKER
If you are using Compliance Profiles in Real-time Marketing and have set up your Topics that’s a big step. You can now successfully market to Contact and Leads and give them both the same experience to opt in and out of your communication messages. Now when someone clicks on the unsubscribe link from the bottom of one of the emails you send them, they can access a nice customised preference center with a clear approach to the type of marketing content you offer. What about someone coming to your website for the first time? How would they opt in? We can provide this as an option by creating a sign up form in Real-time Marketing. In this post we will walk through how to create a subscription form that uses your Compliance profile instead of Subscription Lists.
Moving Consent From Subscription Lists To Real-time Marketing Topics
MEGAN V. WALKER
In previous posts in this compliance series, we looked at setting up your Compliance profile and giving existing audience members a way to opt in or out of content when they receive an email from you. We then looked at how to create a subscription form in Real-time Marketing for brand new people to opt in from your website. What about Contacts or Leads already in your system that don’t already have a consent record for your compliance record? Or, for anyone who has been using Subscription lists in Outbound, how can you transfer the people who are opted in to those and get them opted in to your topics?
If there are any upcoming events relating to Marketing, they will go here!

This year they return with more enthusiasm than ever willing to resume face-to-face events in a new venue to create a more inclusive and larger event. This event is September 29th - 30th in Madrid, Spain. No agenda yet but it’s sure to feature some fantastic sessions!
