Issue 25 of D365 Marketing Weekly

Thank you to so many of you who supported me this past week by donating or sending me messages of encouragement. I walked 50 KM (31.34 miles) in about 9 hours and 48 minutes. It was tough, emotional but still fun! So glad I did it, and I have been able to raise over £1,650 for the Alzheimer’s Society so far. If you would still like to contribute towards the charity, the link is still open below.

As always, if you spot anything you think would be worth a mention, just let me know by emailing [email protected]. Always good to know of others posting about D365 Marketing or if you see anything else other marketers should know about.

Now let’s get on with the newsletter!

Domain authentication: How emails don’t end up in spam

PAULINE KOLDE

Love this post from Pauline, all about domain authentication which helps make sure your emails don’t end up in spam. I wrote on this as a general topic back in 2021, to see if you should actually trust your email stats: Do You Trust Your Marketing Stats? Should You?. In Pauline’s article she also provides some great tools that she users that can be really useful to make sure everything is configured correctly in your system!

Installing Updates For D365 Marketing AKA Customer Insights Journeys

MEGAN V. WALKER

Quick little post for you on a few changes when you manage and are installing updates for D365 Marketing (yes, I know, Customer Insights Journeys but I still can’t let go of it yet). The process is pretty much the same, but the screens are definitely different, AND there is now a place to manage ALL environments which is great for a System Administrator wanting to keep all environments up to date. Check it out!

CUSTOMERY - AMAZING APPS - NEIL BENSON

If you know Neil Benson, you likely know he loves to use lego in his images and promotional posts, which I love! He also has a very well established and respected podcast called The Amazing Apps show. I thought this was a great episode featuring another respected figure in the Power Apps and D365 world, Andrew Bibby. In this episode they talk about what it takes to have a successful go live event for your D365 or Power Platform application. A good one for Project Managers or any organisation about to embark on a new project!
