Issue 33 of D365 Marketing Weekly
Some great stuff in this issue, but I am still interested in knowing who else is writing about D365 Marketing or Customer Insights - Journeys or whatever you want to call it.
As always, if you spot anything you think would be worth a mention, just let me know by emailing email@example.com. Always good to know of others posting about D365 Marketing or if you see anything else other marketers should know about.
Now let’s get on with the newsletter!
The following relate to news and articles about Dynamics 365 Marketing
Create Realtime Marketing Dashboards in D365
MEGAN V. WALKER
Want to know how to create Realtime Marketing Dashboards in D365? Before we begin, this isn’t new functionality… but it’s taking advantage of age old CRM views, charts and dashboards and creating some overviews that may be helpful for marketers and managers to get an understanding of some of the records being used in D365 Marketing (Customer Insights Journeys). For those of you who are old school, you likely know this already, but this post is for anyone a little newer to Dynamics 365, and maybe those who have only ever used the Marketing App. Enjoy!
Finding Your Realtime Event Registration Forms In Customer Insights Journeys
MEGAN V. WALKER
If you’ve started using the new Realtime Marketing Forms for Events, you will have discovered it’s a little bit different to creating them in Outbound. For a start, you can’t create them from the forms area (yet, here is hoping that gets added!), and have to actually create an Event to then create a new form. Then if you want to edit it, you have to remember which Event it was added to and go back in to that Event to then try and make changes. It’s not all that intuitive! With a few small and quick changes that any user can do, we can access those forms a whole lot faster. Let’s take a look at the process!
3 Features that are so under-rated!
Kelly takes a look at 3 features she feels are very under-rated that make life easier for marketers using Customer Insights - Journeys. What do you think? Are you already using these features?
If there are any upcoming events relating to Marketing, they will go here!

By integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights Journey and Deutsche Post's Print Mailing Automation, the experts introduce an innovative approach that reshapes marketing strategies. The webinar might give you ideas if you are an organisation that still needs to send direct mail to audience members.

Birmingham D365 & Power Platform User Group
DYNAMICS 365 & POWER PLATFORM UK USER GROUPS
Leaving this one here…. because it’s the only event I will be presenting at this year so deserves another week in the newsletter and it’s coming up in a few days!. 😂This is in the evening on Thursday November 23rd in Birmingham, UK. I will delve in to Realtime Marketing in Customer Insights - Journeys (formerly D365 Marketing). With recent announcements from Microsoft, Realtime is the way to go, and Outbound is no longer even an option for newer customers! Is your organisation ready to make the move? Although you have time, the amount of work and effort will vary depending on the size of a company and the amount of assets and journeys currently being used. I will walk through the specific areas to be aware of and aim to provide a less daunting journey for you (no pun intended)! Would love to see you there!

Clarity Redesigned: Same Clarity you love, just better!
Are you using Microsoft Clarity? If not, check out the series of blog posts I’ve written on the subject. It’s a free powerful tool, providing you with the ability to review the paths and journeys visitors take on your website. They’ve just redesigned it, and it looks pretty awesome!
Introducing Project “Sophia”, a new generation AI-first business application
I’ve seen this all over LinkedIn so thought it was worth a mention! Project “Sophia” is an AI powered business research canvas designed to help all business users solve complex, cross-domain business problems. It enables users to discover, visualize, and interact with data in new ways, to optimize business processes, and answer strategic questions that drive better outcomes. There are links in the article for you to get started with the preview. Will be interesting to see how this one does!
