Issue 46 of D365 Marketing Weekly

Hi lovely reader,

Here we are, issue 46 of the newsletter! Hope you are all enjoying the content. Let me know if there are other related subjects you would like to know more on and I will see if I can find news and articles on it. Always happy to expand and add in more sections if people are after more information.

As always, if you spot anything you think would be worth a mention, just let me know by emailing [email protected]. Always good to know of others posting about D365 Marketing or if you see anything else other marketers should know about.

Now let’s get on with the newsletter!

D365 Marketing

The following relate to news and articles about Dynamics 365 Marketing

Send Scheduling

KELLY SIMPSON

Kelly has a new post looking at the new Send Scheduling feature that’s due to role out in April as a preview feature. She’s given some examples to get you thinking too. This feature is very much needed for Realtime!

Generating social media posts with AI in Customer Insights Journeys

PAULINE KOLDE

This is Part 4 of the MarTech March series from Pauline and I am loving it! This is a fantastic concept, of using the AI Builder to generate text you could use in a social media post to promote an event. A fantastic addition to your entire Event Management process.

FIONA TIERNAN

In this post on LinkedIn, Fiona is taking a look at the new way to review and manage communication contact records from a Lead and Contact. This has been very much awaited and needed by people. It gives a way to review and manage consent directly from a specific record rather than only within the Contact Point Consent centre area.

Responsible AI FAQs for Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys

MICROSOFT

I came across this while looking for something else and wanted to share. It’s a series of FAQ’s all about Responsible AI. It covers AI questions and answers on the use of AI in content ideas, content rewrite, smart image recommendation, journey Copilot and segment Copilot. You can read and learn about AI in Customer Insights - Journeys to your hearts content!

Events

If there are any upcoming events relating to Marketing, they will go here!

Nordic Summit

NORDIC SUMMIT

Nordic Summit is one of my favourite events and I have been lucky to present as a speaker there on two occasions. Their call for speakers is now open until the end of April for the event that will be held on 28th September in Oslo, Norway. Definitely check it out and plan to go if you can!

Other Content

Other Marketing content you might find useful

LinkedIn now allows brands to sponsor any organic post

MARTECH - NICOLA AGIUS

If you work for an organisation who do LinkedIn campaigns and create ads, this might be of interest. LinkedIn are now providing the ability to create a Thought Leader Ad, sponsoring specific content. This means you can take a post from a 1st or 2nd degree connection, or even someone you aren’t connected to and set up an ad from it. I can see this also being of interest for cross promotional posts between organisations!

Custom call-to-action options for your LinkedIn Page

LINKEDIN

And another one about LinkedIn, this time around a change to LinkedIn Pages. If you have a call to action already set up such as visit website or contact us, that was the button displayed at the top of the company page. However, a change to the layout means now it will be an option to Message the company via the page, and your custom button will appear in the menu from the ellipsis (…). Check out the messages for LinkedIn Pages here, and use the button below to find out more about your custom call to action options.

Here’s How Google’s Cookie Crisis Is Impacting Advertising and MarTech

G2 TECHBLEND - KAMALJEET KALSI

If you aren’t already aware, Google has been working on phasing out third party cookies for a while, with a delay. What does this mean for you and any software you are using? Google are also being asked to unroll the cookie deprecation by several large organisations. Take a look at this to understand more.
