It’s Week 9 already! This will be the last issue for a few weeks while I take a break and go travelling. Keep an eye out for anything I might miss and can add to the issue once I get back!

What’s new in Dynamics 365 Marketing - May Release

MICROSOFT

The May 2023 release is here for D365 Marketing! There are 5 features that have now hit general availability, 3 features in public preview and an additional 5 monthly enhancements listed. So, make sure you go and check it out, and ask your System Administrator if they can plan the upgrade for you!

Power Tips: Dynamics 365 For Marketing

Scottish Summit 2023

SCOTTISH SUMMIT ON TOUR

This one is actually in Manchester this year, held on 5th August as they go ‘on tour’. This is always a fantastically run event, and well worth attending. So far there are a couple of D365 Marketing specific sessions, one from Guro Faller and one from newcomer Kelly Simpson!

Nordic Summit 2023

NORDIC SUMMIT COMMUNITY

I shared this one last week, but deserves mentioning again! I’ve been lucky enough to visit and present at two Nordic Summit events, and it’s by far one of my favourites. Previously hosted in Sweden, the event will be in beautiful Copenhagen, Denmark on September 23rd. The sessions are still yet to be announced but there are sure to be some focused on D365 Marketing!

Supercharging Search with generative AI

GOOGLE

Last week Google announced ‘a new era of Search’ which if you are in the US, you can sign up for to try it out. It’s combining search with AI, which means AI will help provide additional and hopefully useful insights when you search for something using Google. For me I think this is interesting not only as a user of Google, but also someone with a website that someone could be searching for. I’m curious to see how this could impact search results in the future. So take a look to be aware!
